Intellimouse Explorer

I dont know if this is the right place to ask, but...
I want to know if the intellimouse explorer works in plain MS-DOS (booting directly to DOS) not in an MS-DOS session (window).
Do any of you have it? Please tell me your experiences

if it is hooked up to the ps2 port and not the usb it will.............the eyes processing is all done within the mouse itself..............not the OS

As oblivion said... It should work just like any other mouse. The only thing different about it, is it's internal workings..

Thanks!, I knew that the DSP process everything internally. Just wanted to know if there are any DOS drivers.
How about gaming? How is it playing Q3A or UT?
I think I red that the intellimouse can get a little confused if you used to move it like crazy.
Any little bit of information you could add will be greatly appreciated!!

It works great in gaming- cleaning crud from your mouse is a thing of the past! and extra buttons are great!
