You know what I mean? When you let the mouse cursor hover over a button, or a data field, or whatever, and a pop-up appears to "assist" you. Well, they usually just annoy me. Can't I disable this feature for Windoze?

I guess I'll take that as a "we don't know what you're talking about OuTpaTienT" or maybe a "we do know what you're talking about, but can't help ya...you're out of luck" Oh well, story of my life. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif

The little yellow boxes? Like "click here to begin." when you hover over the start button?
I thought I remembered seeing something about that in tweakui...but I quick look around came up empty. Sooooo I do know what you're talking about, but can't help ya...that by no means does that put you out of luck though. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

(snicker, snicker) Cool, the "pity factor" is working. (a favorite ploy of mine. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif)

Go to "Start", then "Settings", then "Folder Options" and click on the "View" tab. Go down to "Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items." Uncheck the box and hit ok.
