MS Outlook express crashes

MS OLExpress crashes about 75% of the time I use it. When i open it, the loading logo pops up and stays there. If i move it to the background and then min everything, it will become a grey box. this disappears when i end the task Msimn [not responding].
Can anyone fix this?
Im using IE5 (MSN version), and have scanned for viruses with latest definitions (norton's 5.0 5/12/99). Wonder whats going on. Everything else works in tip top shape. Ive tryed reinstalling it (IE5 and OLexpress) with no results.

Mine did not crash once sence IE5 was released. What kind of hardware you've got? Could be missing/corrupt system files(*.dll or *.vxd files)
BTW it crashed a lot in my old pc using Win95 OSR2 but did not crash using Win98SE.
A BUG???

If you are running Win98 go do a "update" and you will likely find that Microsoft has a newer version of 5.0 avaliable to you from the win98 update site...I know this as I just FINISHED doing just that. I had also downloaded the MSN version of IE5 when it first came out and had done a couple of updates (patches) posted on MSN's and other websites....but tonight when I went to check for Win98 updates it had me download IE5 with tools!

Nope....Im all updated!
Im not the only one with this problem....saw someone on tech board with same problem.
PII 350 64 ram, CL TNT, SB Live, 17" syvania win 98.

Hey think ive found a solution...If you go to view -> Layout, and shut off info pane, it works 100% of the time..I dont know why this happens but why bother explaining it if it works...If this helps anyone else plz respond (MSN IE5)

My OE hasn't been crashing, but had been having the Fwd/Attachment problem. But i just had to reload Win98, so will see if that helps with that particular problem.

It seems to happen to one of my friends..the only one of the people that Email me that is from AOL...I suppecting its some compatibility issue between AOL proxy way of sending email and OE5
