Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : got my own pproxy and stats going
I got this set up under linux. I am using my own pproxy that uploads to Virus's pproxy. I then am running my own stats which are written in perl and are available from dnet. I have a cron job updating my stats every 15 minutes. This is a great setup if you have multiple computers cracking and need to keep up with them. It wasn't really that bad to set up either.

I do the same.
By the way, you forgot to add the /icons directory to the root for the stats. When you do, you will get the flags and the arrows. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
I'm currently installing Linux onto my dualeron, and hope to get it set up to route internet connections to my other computers. That is hope....
Currently I use a Win98 machine to make internet available on my network.

Thanks for the icons tip. Using your linux box as a gateway is faily easy using IP chains. If you have any questions I might be able to help. I am by no means an expert, I just did that same thing recently.

Nice Job bdog,
Now comes the fun part. Customizing it to your specifications. I didn't like the default colors, so I messed aound with the .ini file til I liked it.

If your using apache. Apache has it's own assigned icons dir for it's ftp thumbnails. I just renamed my stats icons dir to rc5icons and changed the ppstats-rc5.ini to point to it.
Virus, thanks for the tip on renaming the icons directory to rc5icons. I was tring what Bkehoe said and couldn't get it to work. I guess it was just some conflict with Apache as you said. Now my flags and little penguins are there.
