There are way too many useless topics and posts going on here- I'm talkin one and two sentence jokes that have no point.

I mean, every two days, we'll get a post, "Hey joe. Wow, nice dump."

reply: "Thanx. The herd got ornery"
reply: "ha."
reply: "he."

I mean, I don't mind screwin around, but I've abandoned this forum pretty much because about half the stuff goin on in here is a waste of time.

I mean, mess around in the gamin forum- you play games to have fun! But w/rc5, you let your systems go for fun.... It's like a sport as far as not screwin around goes.

Don't cut funny posts, but please, even if we don't cut the junk, can we have a little serious discussion?

I agree w/you Apostle that there are some useless posts in this forum (as there are in any), but the majority of the posts are related to distributed computing, and are quite serious (I think).

Also, I'm not meaning to be rude or disrespectful in any way, but if you'd like some more serious discussion, maybe you'd like to suggest a topic that we could discuss?
