My client is acting weird 8007-458,
I was having problems last week with my pc. My client wouldnt flush, it would shut down and give me a kernel32.dll error @ 015f:bffcf0a
I formatted my hd and reloaded 98 this AM, and I get the same error, though now it happens when I run the client.
I must have a possessed sytem or something.
I even tried starting fresh, new .ini file and new buffers, but I cant keep the client running,
Has anyone seen this problem before?

Is your PC overclocked?

yes, but I reset it to normal when I formatted and reinstalled everything, I havent returned it to the overclocked speeds yet

Ok, I got it all fixed.
I reluctantly reformatted and reinstalled 98 again.
I have fetched and flushed.
I also had a flakey modem, so I buckled down and went shopping today. I bought an Awesome ext USB modem.
Diamond USB, it rocks, so far Im aeraging about 4.1-4.3 bandwidth vs 2.8-3-3
