US gov't bill pending for vote on Monday-
Gov't can break in your house with a search warrant.

and they don't have to tell you they've been inside your house.

the bill is buried inside of an amphetamine drug abuse bill.

if that passes....there is nothing to stop em from copying your hard drive
or setting you up by putting something on your hard drive- now granted they can also do this remotely if you have an always on connection....but that's not the point

hmmm, I was under the impression that if they had a search warrant, they didn't need your permission to enter anyway.

ok, couple things...
first my typo
if its gonna happen Monday, then its not exactly as we speak- am typing this as I hear it on news....

then about what Target said-
hmmm, I was under the impression that if they had a search warrant, they didn't need your permission to enter anyway.

I didn't say they need your permission, they don't have to inform you....as of now
if they do that, they're required to tell you
or something like that.

don't believe what you read or hear. I worked with the u.s. customs for almost 6 years at an international sea port. I have road off and on with the local sheriff's dept for over 20 years here on the island. and you better have a search warrant. or no case in court.
I've even been as far as to have the U.S. DEA/AFT come to my house and ask to search it. I ask them do you have a warrant. even thou I told them to search anyway. hell, you can even bring in the dogs if you want too.

and they just told me that they could get a warrant in 30 sec. or less. and if they did find something without a warrant. it couldn't be used against me ect.

and so if the GOV. is reading this and they can get past my 600.+ security system. and a sh**load of loaded guns ect. let them break into my house while I'm at home without a warrant. some of there friends and family will be taking off work to burie them ect.

I best think someone should read the rights and the laws that protect the private people of this here united states of ours ect.

Well I dont know the law in the USA but in Canada if you give a Police officer permission to search the premisis, anything they find can be used in court. As I said I am not familiar with the law in the US, but I think it would be the same. Also with the Canadian Gun Control bill passed a few years ago, all police need now is suspecion that an illegal firearm is on the premisis and they can search without a warrant. It is however rare that they will do so.

Gene, what I think the bill is about is the gestapo breakin in while your not home.

as of now, if I understand this correctly, if they go through your stuff, they have to inform you.

if this bill gets passed..and its probably a done deal, just like eilan is going to cuba no matter what....
then they can go through your stuff and DO NOT have to inform you....

U.S. Constitution: Fourth Amendment !!!!!

According to what I am reading....the consitution has been turned off for about 40 yrs or so, and never turned back on.

Last week Janet Reno was given some kind of superscedence over the pentagon as to who gets to take over in the event of a national emergency...
the administration can decide what is and isn't a national emergency....

so what constitution are you refering to?

and as far as the gun control here in the u.s.
U.S. Constitution: Second Amendment http://caselaw.findlaw.com/data/constitution/amendment02/

my family has been collecting guns for years. I have a gun vault at my house. and everyone knows it. and as for the canada gov. they aren't doing such a good job with the u.s.'s help either.

here a while back they had a aritcal about a load of guns crossing the border. and like that is the only one happing. I think not. if the people of this country had a decent outlook on the use of guns and how to handle them.this would all never have to happen.

but, no matter what laws you pass. there will always be guns on the street for sale at any price.

if the GOV. want to do something. than quit giveing there people raises. and get us out of debt ect. and run there own life. before they try to run ours ect.

social security is unconstitutional.

yes, I do know that. and I also know that I don't have to pay medicare either. or have to carry worksman comp , insurance, bond libility ect. all I have to do is pay the fed. taxes ect.

but, I think it would be also unconstitutional, if I didn't claim everything I sell like I do, I also think it would be wrong for me not to pay in these things too.

even tho, I might not get something out of it. your and my friends, families, ect. will get something out of it. if everyone felt like they or didn't want to pay these things.

what would happen to the older ones out there that have to live day by day. because of these things I choose to pay??????

I mean after the GOV. droped the income rate to those that had put all there money into regular cd's,money market, savenings ect. to maybe live off of today. they need every penny of s.s. we can give to them. and most of that goes for high prices "rip off" medical cost to survive to stay alive ect.

you don't even want me to get started on this. for I have a love for older people and children. and I really don't feel like makeing an ***** "even tho I am" of my self for what I might say on this. so I'll let it go at this ect.

If you read the 180,000+ pages of the IRS Tax Code, you can even find that Federal Income Taxes are illegal. It's amazing how many loopholes you can find in government documents.

Anyway, I pay my taxes, and don't really care about it. I'll like Gene's standpoint on this issue.

BTW, this property protected is by a Norinco MAK-90 semi-auto, along with MANY others!

Hey Rookie, can you post a link to the document? I agree that our Constitutional freedoms (rights granted by God, protected from those in power by the Constitution) are getting stomped on every day. I am not surprised that our caring government would put something into an unrelated bill, that happens all the time. But, just remember who puts these people into office.

ok here goes:
now this is going to offend many, so its just an idea, ok?

ya ever hear of the term- agent provaceteur?
(my spelling may be off)

The concept is one of our guys (secret service types) does a really horrible act against one of our own people (and does it very publicly- make sure it gets LOTS of news coverage)

then they finagle the news broadcast of the afformentioned Horrible Event by spreading disinformation about it.
In short- they try to hang it on someone.
or spread rumors about it...what ever it takes to get the media to jump on it.

here goes my idea:

Columbine was to get the Million Mom march support galvanized.

yeah that's right, I'm thinking our own gestapo set this up.

bold statement, I know

(i had to put the above disclaimer in here....cause this idea is really gonna **** off some who consider themselves to be patriots- as I consider myself to be)

The first thing the nazi's did was to get everyone to register thier guns.
then they confiscated em

Hey Gene,
just read one of your other posts to the person who lost thier job.
in the post you mentioned that your self employed.
Did you know that leagally, you do not have to participate in social security?

social security is unconstitutional.
but having said that....
the norms of our society as its governed....means if you choose to opt out of social security.

and you CAN choose to opt out of it.

also means you incur the wrath of local govt.
no social security number also equals no drivers licence....

all of this is related to computers.
with a number, we can be enumerated.
if we're reduced to being enmerated...we can be controlled. (e.g. watched, talliied, and if the powers that be choose to- persecuted and punished with ruthless efficiency)

Im sounding like kazinsky here....but its necessary to get a discussion going on it, so let em call me mulder or kazinsky
