I just did some research on playstation and a few other consoles - they all use standard RISC processors... If someone knew what they were doing, you could easily make a client to run on it!

Playstation: 30 blocks / day
Playstation2: 270 blocks /day
Dreamcast: 180 blocks / day

This might actually work, but someone that knows what they're doing would have to make a client for each system and figure out a way to make an I/O cable from the console to your computer...

Hey, opened up my PSX about a week ago, looked a lot like my socket 7, just a bit smaller. If you were planning to do this, this would be my advice:

make a CD of like 100 blocks or something, boot to it (you would need PSX bios on there) let it start cracking (no OS or anything to get in the way) let it record all resaults to a memory card, and if it finds a winner, it gives you a nemeric code for your PC.
