A Virus I got.....

ok, all you people that know anything about viruses take a look at this. I got a virus on my PC. When i run Word 97, if i close it, my virus scan comes up with a virus. it says the class of virus is "W97M/Class.D", and i try to clean it and it says there was a "Run-Time Error '5353'" and it won't clean it. The virus is on a file named "Document1.doc". When i finally do close out word, it seems to delete the files it has just opened. got any ideas on how to fix this one? if you need more info to make a diagnosis let me know. any help will be appreciated.

P.S.: it isn't new, so don't get all scared, it has been there forever but i just now found it.

I don't know what scan program you are useing ect. but, myself I consider the virus king for as many as I have gotten ect.
so from my point of view is. if the program on the hdd can't get it. try and use the virus scan floppy you can create from the virus programs.
