Hi,

Your CPU gets loaded 100% with RC5, so logically it will get hot! But I don't you should worry as long as you don't overclock!

well i dont overclock so u are saying that a temp of 50-55c isent harmfull to the CPU and other cards and harddrives etc

Over 50c would make me nervous. I would add a case fan to help get the case temp down.

Are these two fans blowing out or pushing in?

You wanna know more about cooling and can use some serious help?
Go have a look at this site's BBS:
http://www.anandtech.com/

There is a special thread: Cases&Cooling

Everything you wanted to know...and all you can ask

Watch out though, there is a friendly war going on between sysopt and anandtech!

What I do to keep my overclocked system stable, with only a case fan and cheap CPU fan is,
I run waterfall 1.23 and keep the distrubuted client minimized. Keeping both memorized allows waterfall to partially do its job cooling my processor, while the distributed client can work at almost peak performance. I lose about 3% of my key rate doing this though.

I have noticed that if I run the ditributed cient in the foreground, allowing it all the resources that it wants, my system will heat up rapidly.

If your case has enough holes in it, I would point both fans in. The reason: you will double the air pressure going into the case, this will force the air out of more places than just one single path from the intake fan to the exhaust fan. If you don't have enough holes in your case, you can remove a cover plate from an unused card slot to increase the exhaust volume.
