Hi, I remember a couple months back, the LDS church was trying to supress a web site that had stuff on it that made LDS look bad.
What ever anyones opinion of LDS is irrelevant from the perspective of what I'm trying to find out here.
The LDS church got an injunction to force the web site owner from saying bad stuff about em.
And they retailiated by posting the exact same stuff, but in the form of links to other peoples pages...so they could then legally say: we didn't say that stuff, and we can't be responsible for all the content of stuff we provide links for....
this is not unlike M$ temporarily shuting down bootdisk.com
bootdisk.com is back up, with links to bootdisks that are legal.
e.g. Micron legally has an agreement with MS and they can legally offer bootdisks from their web site...
Is this still in litigation?
Anyone know?
