Appreciate your assistance.

Trying to help some friends who have two PCs. One is running W95C (parents pc), the other W98SE (kids pc).

If the two machines are connected by a 10/100 PCI Networking Card, would thre be a problem exchanging data, printer, etc., because of the different operating systems?

There shouldn't be a problem.

I have a P133 running Windows 95 and an AMD k6-2 500 running Windows ME. Each computer has a 10/100 NIC and they are connected with a cat-5e cable. I have no problems sharing drives/directories or printers.

You must purchase a X-over cable if you are not going to use a hub.
