I'm looking at the Netgear RP334 phoneline router. This appears to be a combination of the RP114 (a variation of the RT314), and the PE102 bridge, all in one unit with 3 ports. This uses the existing phone jacks in the house with adaptors (PA101) as opposed to direct wiring.

I have not found any reviews, posts, or feedback on any of these products. Has anyone tried this phoneline system or a similar one?
Thanks

I have a Linksys HPRO200 (http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=176&grid=5) (running cables isn't practical for me). I have 3 machines networked with it,1 with the Ethernet connection and 2 through the phone line with Intel Anypoint adapters,it works flawlessly.

Do you maintain the same connection speed by going through the phone lines, or is something lost in the transition? Running cable isn't practical for me either, but if it means a reduction in speed I may reconsider.

I am using 1mb/s Anypoint adapters on 2 of my boxes so I take a speed hit but it still beats dialup but if you use 10mb/s adapters there should be no speed reduction. You can read about HPNA technology here (http://www.csdmag.com/story/OEG20010221S0081)
