Hi has anyone gotten a network working using the Linksys Phoneline 10M Network kit?

I just got it today, and I don't know much about networking... I'm trying to network the computers so that I can use DSL on both my computers

I use Netgear 10Base-T Ethernet network, but I might be able to help. First tell me exactly what your problem is.

Phew ok

Well the story goes like this...
I bought a homelink phoneline 10M Network kit and I followed the manual exactly ... but I can't get a network going.. I don't really know what the problem is

According to the manual I go to Network from the control panel and I add NetBeui and
change the primary network logon to netware client... ok I did that
then I went to my other computer and did the same thing

then I installed Lanbridge software that came with my network kit on my Server Computer and then installed it on my client computer..if the computers are networked I'm suppose to get a green light indicated that my computers are networked, at the bottom right singal of the screen but it's red....

So then I removed Lan Bridge and tried networking using Home Networking wizard (Windows Me) I followed the procedure.. and created a setup disk for my other computer (which runs on Windows 98).. and put the disk in and installed it...

then I went to network places from the desktop and I doubleclicked entire network..but I get an error message... and I don't know waht to do from there...

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but... when I type winipcfg I'm not getting an IP on my server computer (0.0.0.0), but I get an IP on my client computer
