I got it for $25 Canadian Eli 07-16-2001, 06:50 PM Was it brand new? $25 Canadian isn't too bad. tacotime 07-17-2001, 01:58 AM I bought a SMC EZ Card 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet PCI Card (SMC1244TX) but inside the box was a Realtek RTL(A)8139 PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter Did I get ripped off?!?!??! I don't know much about Ethernet cards so... should Ireturn the product? Sixpac 07-18-2001, 08:57 PM I don't think you got ripped off because I've been using SMC cards since the ISA days and they've been really good to me. Plus they have very good tech support. For $25 I think you got a fair deal. Sixpac>>>> wyvrn 07-20-2001, 03:14 PM Realtek makes chipsets for a lot of manufacturers, including SMC. Usually SMC will rebadge the cards with their name but usually it will still have the Realtek chipset markings on it. Maybe SMC got lazy on this one. SysOpt.com
