I know this topic has been covered before, but I searched the forum and haven't come up with anything useful.
I was wondering if anybody could help me out. It's not critical but sometimes I would like to see what ZA is stopping.
Thanks.

there is also Neotrace (http://www.neotrace.com/)

With ZA, there is an option in the Alert pop-up box to take you to the page where you can track..
From ZoneLabs (http://zonelabs.master.com/texis/master/search/mysite.html?q=track+IP&order=r&cmd=context&id=28304aba7835183f#hit5) :
Use of Information for Analyzing Security Breaches:
If the Zone Labs product detects a security threat to your computer, you can click on the "More Information" button from the product dialogue box.
At that point, the product sends the information about the threat and your IP address to the Zone Labs Site to be analyzed. Zone Labs will send you more specific guidance about the security information.

I usually use the ZA built in checking feature. But sometimes the link doesn't work.
Also, there have been other time I've wanted to look up an IP address not associated with ZA.
Thanks for the help,
LK

There is one called Hypertrace, from Analog X's web site (http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/htrace.htm) Seems pretty clean, no conflicts with my other toys yet, I've been using it about a month.

Wow NeoTrace was also one of the goodies that a freebe at www.analogx.com. (http://www.analogx.com.) It's so cool! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif I don't know what in the heck it's doing but wow great screen saver. No just kidding!! I'm really impressed by the GUI. It gives real time counts of data in and out, and an accumulation. Did I say it looks great?

VisualRoute is what I use to find out who's rattling my doorknob. It's a good utility because it will so you on a world map where the IP is located that you are searching for.
The ZA (freebie) that I use will only let you do a few searches from whois.arin.net at a time, then will tell me that I need to wait a while to look up more.I usually get the IP from ZoneAlarm and then lookup with VisualRoute. The upgrade(ZoneAlarm Pro) may let you do more searches, but I don't know about that.
I think you can try VisualRoute out for 30 days, then buy for about 30 bucks.
