How do you change the setting so when you hit the back button it does not refresh? I need to know this because i formated my hd and I lost all of my setting s for IE. thanks!

I'm not sure this is what you're looking for, but Tools>Internet Options>General>Settings lets you specify how often IE should "Check for a newer version of stored pages"
