Why is it that whenever you seem to get ahead in life that some low life A-hole does something to set you back? Case in point, I get off work Saturday all is fine, the better half is working in the yard all day and goes in about2:30pm. We come out and some bunghole shot the back glass of my truck with a BB gun,GRRR! OK, call the cops, blah, blah report taken, etc,get window replaced yesterday.Come out this morning, guess what? ANOTHER back glass shattered! I live in a pretty good area, but have to drive thru a bunch of rental duplexes to get home and it seems some of the "inhabitants" give me the "oh look at him in his nice truck" look.I don't stir trouble or anything, but if I work hard to have something nice, why can't you? Oh, It's my fault you dropped out of school and didn't get an education, and have to live in a dump,so you will tear my s**t up because you can't/won't get off your *** and make something of yourself? Thus endeth this rant, and I can assure you that when/if I find the actors of the last couple of days incidents,I hope the Lord has mercy on their soul, 'cause their *** is MINE!

I feel your pain! There are too many jerks out there. In college, I had just leased a new Corolla. Nothing fancy, but my first car as an adult. I woke up one morning to discover that some drunken idiot had scraped his car along the entire side of mine, leaving one long nasty bang up job. Of course, it was a hit and run. I can only hope the fool ran himself into a tree down the road.

So, my lease soon ended, and I bought a used Celica. Again, nothing too overly expensive or extravagant, but I love it. I park it at Wal-mart for 45 minutes, and some dumbass rams his shopping cart into it, again leaving a nice big dent in almost the exact location of the one on the Corolla! I haven't gotten it fixed yet, 'cause I know as soon as I do some other idiot will bang it up. Sheesh, has it come down to driving a freakin' tank around to keep my vehicle safe?

That's my ranting for the day. Thank you.

Replace glass - video surveillance - legal action:

As for the poor area residents... sometimes you might be surprized to find the culprit is some spoiled brat from a fairly nice home .. most cases not.

I know how it feels, I've been there. I've had the broken windows, the stolen stereos, the parking lot dents and scrapes. You own something you enjoy and are proud of and some dumb*ss makes your life hell. What ever happened to respecting other's property?

Anyway, as far as vehicles go I gave up on owning anything decent cuz it'll only break your heart. I drive a dependable old stationwagon with a basic ol stereo, that's the only way to live with the idiots. They won't be bothered with a piece of *hitcar and if I do get something banged up on it I could care less. But it still bugs me I can't own anything nice and keep it that way!

I parked my new (to me) Accord in downtown Houston for several months at my job. Not a super nice car, but not too shabby either. Every day it seems like I found a new dent or scratch where some dumb jerk parked and slammed their door into mine, or backed up into my bumper. Sad to say it, but my shiny Accord now looks like it lived through WWII. Makes me wish I had bought an old beat up one just to get back and forth to work.

I personally believe everything that happens is a direct result of the past, Karma!

What the hell gives you the right to classify people by their level of education? I dropped out of HS when I was 15 and do just fine. I make more money some College grads. Seeing how you have such a wonderful attitude toward lower class folks I am surprised this does not happen to you more often! The lack of an education does not make a person good or bad or did I miss something when I grew up. Is that the BS they teach imbeciles like you in college? They way someone dresses, place they live, car they drive, and level of education level do not mean they shot the window out in your POS vehicle! Some people rent places because they have no choice or are saving money etc… Some HS and college grads are poor, aren’t they now.

You need to took a hard look at yourself and examine why you think you are better than poor people. FYI most people who have money are very snobby to those that do not have any and that is a people in this country. Why don’t you go down to a homeless shelter and donate a day to see what the real deal is, I bet these people would surprise you. At the very least you would get grateful quick!

Have you ever even looked in the mirror while you drive by these so-called “inhabitants” and seen the way you look at them? I bet your **** nose is stuck up quite high! Also I would be willing to bet tonight’s $1379 paycheck that they all work just as hard as you if not harder. And they deserve a little more respect than you give them/us. I hate to see a person like you with the he is construction scum attitude! I get it all the time because of the car I drive, the cloths I wear when coming and going to work and what I do for a living.

Just remember that one day it may be you sitting right there with them people due to a downsizing or an injury or another depression. So be thankful for what you have and never look down at another person for what they do not have.

Like CM said I would not be the least bit surprised if it is one you those rich snobby kids a couple of doors down.

I hope your lord has mercy on your soul for judging others the way you do.

Hey Jad, I work with some of the inhabitants of those duplexes, and yeah, its real nice to drive down the street, seeing broken beer bottles all in the road, having 12 year old kids walk down the middle of the street and yell F**K you when you try to get them to move. I came from a lower class family as well and I only have high school education, and no, anyone who has bothered to come up my driveway is always welcome! IT's the low life pieces of **** that tear other peoples property that I have a problem with.
There are some good folks around here and before you go off, I don't live in a mansion, bud, it's a whopping 1270 sq ft house.
Where are these kids parents? They could care less where they are and what they do.
Case In point, the neighborhood terror across the street is now very civil to me, replys yes sir,no,sir when he speaks to me,but you should here him bad mouth HIS OWN MOTHER when she wants him to come in. It's called respect,he has it for me because he knows I won't let him mess around in my garage when I'm working on my bikes if he acts like a turd. It's amazing how far a litte discipline will go if it just applied when it is needed. And speaking of judgement, what did you just do to me?

Edit: I work in steel mill, and I purposely dressed in a pair of holey blue jeans and a t-shirt the last time I bought a vehicle, you know why? You will then find out real quick who wants to sell you a vehicle.

desmocat, i wouldnt be suprised if it was a bunch of rich kids who did it to you. They enjoy seeing what they can get away with. When i worked in a record store, most of the theives were kids who could afford the cd, but tried to steal just for kicks.

Such is life...

I agree with you 102%, desmocat!

I live in a blatantly rich community. Here, money does not come easy, it is EXTREMELY hard worked for.

But, then you have people who live in these .. poor .. communities who are under the assumption that we should be at the level that they are, and that it isn't fair that we have what we have. While, they have no jobs~!

They have the mentality that our lives are easy, and everything has come easy to us. Well, we're sorry to break the news to them, but it hasn't. And it won't.

We find that 90% of the crimes in this town of 3000 is committed by the young people in a sub area of another town which is VERY close to ours.. Again.. Low income families who's kids just get into trouble 24/7.

But, don't get me wrong. You're family may have a low income, but be working their asses off. And their kids could be great kids. Don't get me wrong. I know a lot of people who are great people. Even though they don't have a lot of money... Which in the long run, doesn't matter that much.

hehe.. I'd like to hear more about it if you find the ppl who did it.

About four years ago, I had just picked up my brand new '96 Jimmy from the dealership. I had to then run a few errands and ended up at a local mall to run into Office Max. I parked the **** thing away from the maddening crowds and possible first-day dooor dings.

Well, some jealous A$$hole keyed (scratched) the driver's and passenger's sides. And this imbecile made not one, but two passes per side. I almost had a coronary! It looked like a wildcat clawed the goddamn thing. And it was only three hours old!!!

The story ends good, because I took it back to the dealer in desperation and they had it repainted, gratis. They wouldn't let me (or my insurance) pay a dime. he very graciously said that it was obvious that it was transit damage and within a week it was back to brand new. With pinstriping thrown in to boot!! And there wasn't a body panel that didn't have a scratch on it (except for the roof). Of course I had bought three trucks from them previously, so they were just being good businessmen.

And I traded the '96 in for my '98, so they'll always get my business.

But I tell you, there are some sociopaths out there that would kill you for the change in your pocket or burn your house down because it's yours...or scratch the **** out of your vehicle because it's not their's. To this day, I'd like five minutes in an ATM machine lobby (small space, nowhere to hide) with the cretin that did this to my truck. I'd put some dents in his body, for sure!!!!

Oh, what a world...

I do take it a bit personal when it comes to people classifying others due to the lack of an education and where they live. My wife and I both are from rather poor families. And I have worked very hard to get where I am now.

At my in-laws house I had a similar problem with kids cursing me until I snatched them up and brought them to their parents. My in-laws and I have never had another problem with any of those kids. And they sell dope in the open a couple of blocks over to give you an idea of the neighborhood.

I am sure you do understand why I wrote what I did. If not oh well. Also remember those people renting are paying close to what you pay a month if they live in the same area. I just got going and did not stop.

Warthog if you have a problem with me then my e-mail address is jad1097@home.com. If not then MYOB! There are several ways we could resolve our differences if you wish to, this is not the place to do so but it seems to be the time. You seem to have no comprehension of who I am or what I am about.

no, no, Jad http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. I don't see a need to email you about anything.
