request for BBS phone numbers

This may be an odd request but can anyone give me BBS phone numbers ( area code + number) ANY BBS numbers. This is for dialing in through Hyperterminal to just test that a modem is working and connecting. Any that test the modem speed would be helpful but just cool ones are cool too. Is this reaching back too far?

Man I rememeber my slow modem days! You had to wait till people got off one of the 2 phone lines the BBS was running on before you could get on (IF it had 2 lines). Then you only had 45 minutes to d/l files unless you had false names. I used to turn off colored text b/c it took so much longer to draw to screen than black and white.
