I cannot access the internet through any program. However i can browse the network neighborhood just fine.

Netscape gives this error:

Netscape was unable to create a network socket connection.

Telnet programs give:

Telnet error 0000273F

Address family not supported by protocol family.

AIM and Outlook wont connect, and games i.e. Everquest, wont work either.

i tried reinstalling the network protocols and such, but that didnt work, i really have no idea what to do.

there are no viruses on my machine, at least according to an up to date norton.

i can access the other computers on my network, but not the internet. All 3 of our computers are hooked up to a hub which is in turn connected to a cable modem. and they all used to work fine, this whole problem just started happening for no apparent reason.

Thanks for any help you can give

If you don't have a broadband router and aren't paying for 3 IP addresses then your ISP may have cut off the extra IP address(s) you were getting.
A simple test is to assign that computer an IP address manually along with a known good computer. Then test by pinging between the two.
