Need diode data

I need some data for any Si or Ge diode (anything that would be a good representation of diodes out there); I need to know:

1) Maximum reverse-bias that the diode can be put under

2) Maximum back-current that flows under reverse bias conditions

Sorry if this is a little OT for the forum; it seemed the best choice of forum to post this under.

Diodes are capable of all kinds of reverse bias voltages. Do you have a particular # that can be cross checked? Are you looking for something in particular?

I know there are lots of kinds of diodes, I really needed a general range of values the properties could take on, and I found enough data to get a good ballpark estimate. I haven't needed to do the diode selection as yet, I needed the info in selecting some other components first.
