hi, I have a linksys router and have tried to use msn messanger, aol messanger, yahoo messanger to transfer files to a friend when we are in an IM. It never works saying that I am behind a firewall. What is the easy way to set it up to allow this?
I am limited to setting up standard protocols and no familiar with Ports, except that they allow stuff to come in and out.
P.S. I still want my network to be secure so please tell me how I will know it is secure if i open up some port or whatever?
