Try switching your memory in the banks and see if it makes a difference. SprocketTech 05-16-2000, 11:04 AM I tried moving the Ram and it did the same thing?? ceedee 05-16-2000, 03:44 PM tell us what mobo/bios your using ? madthumbs 05-17-2000, 12:39 AM If you have an AMI BIOS, 4 beeps would mean a system timer failure. Your system board would need repair. If it is 1 long beep followed by 3 short beeps, it would mean video failure. In that case make sure your video card is properly seated, or you may need to clean the contacts, or replace the card. Before sending your system board in for repair, try resetting the BIOS, or unplugging the battery, then plugging it back in. NOTE TO ALL; When posting for help, please specify your problem in the title! I rarely read (help me) posts! Also, I rarely help people that don't specify their system specs. Think about it.... Your asking for our help, but not helping us out any. This post is a waste of time if you don't have AMI BIOS. Thanks SysOpt.com
