I have 2 Cisco 2500 series routers in my house. It's fun playing with them and trying to make them NOT work. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Also, the main reason I have 'em is for hands on study for my CCNA exam. Most people have smaller routers when they are sharing a broadband internet connection, and/or for security reasons if they have static IP addresses. The link provided will probably provide a good explanation of how they do their job. SysOpt.com
