hi i have just installed my peer to peer network one computer running win98se and one running win2k with isa 10baset cards and a cross-over cable no router, and they wont talk to each other the w2k can see the win 98 but not the other way round, all the hard drives are shared with out passwords and its all beeen set up useing net beui please help how can i get these 2 talking? thanx in advance!

I dont believe you can Network a Win2k box and Win98 like that.

You can try to use TCP/IP as the standalone protocol and Add Microsoft Client for Networks as well as File and printer sharing
