I want to get a good quality guitar stand for my sister who plays. Any recommendations?
Price doesn't matter. I want to give her something good that will last a long time. I know it's just a stand, but I prefer high quality it stuff for myself so why not for others.
Thanks! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Well, I'm not going to recommend brands or the like, as that is, really, personal pref.
But I will recommend a style. I'm out on the road a few times a week with my band giggin out, and I can say that the classic support underneath.... hmmmm **leaves browser, opens up another browser, goes looking**
Here's (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ex/shop/home/0515-152900-209180230150979199?buy&type=t&q=GUITAR+STANDS&linenum=5&csel=0&netpid=454010) one i wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Hope this helps...

Yes! Thank you very much, Apostle.
If I don't get this one, at least you gave me a good site to look at.

Hey, lemme know what you decide on. My stuff get put through a LOT of wear and tear, lemme tell you, i wouldn't worry about a stand as much as say, a good case and a nice humidifier.

I bought a Guild D-40 Dreadnought with a rosewood neck... List was $800, got it for 400... and also got a 95' Clapton signature series "All American" Strat, list $1200 for $800 with case and a Boss Chorus and Heavy Metal pedal... So check these guys out...
