I'm trying to back up some files daily in our Win 2000 Server to another box on the network ..... but when I get to the part where I "browse" to show where to back-up it just shows the folder open , and then I'm stuck ..... can I do this ?? what step am I missing ?? Thanks

Sure you can back up to another machine.

Is your other machine logged into the server?

yes ..... I can "browse" to the other box and select the directory to back-up in ....

When it asks you where to back up to and you "browse" to the networked machine and select the folder, you have to NAME the backup.
