I just bought a Gateway Solo laptop which came with a program called laplink and was wondering if I could copy that program over to my Compaq. I do not have the installation disk and was curious how I could do it?

It should be available in installable form on the Solo System CD.

Just have a little browse around. The other stuff is there, but I never bothered with Laplink.

If you connect the Gateway to the Compaq, you should be able to copy the LapLink program over the connection using the Laplink software on the Gateway. Look at the docs for the software, I am pretty sure that there is a standard facillity to do this.
