You do know that all fonts get loaded resident in memory when windows starts, don't you?

This will really slow your system down if hou have an excessive amount installed.

Keep it in mind.

There are hundreds of font sites on the net. The newsgroup alt.binaries.fonts is a good place to pick up some great fonts too.

As a certified fontaholic, I keep over 100 megs of fonts in a separate folder, so they don't load. There are utilities available that will catalog unloaded fonts and load them as they are needed. Also, having a font open in the task bar makes that font available to apps. thats useful if you're adding a font to a graphic.
