I use OutLook Express for email. Two friends are sending me email which they say are only forwarded to me, but they come as attachments when I receive them. There is nothing in the body of the message and nothing in the attachment when opened. The subject & attachment line have multiple Fwd's written in them.Ex: Fwd[Fwd:[Fwd:[Fwd:It'll make you cry]]](6.49KB). What is the problem?I receive forwarded email from others just fine. Thanks for any help. Has me baffled.

I have the same problem with one friend who has AOL as an ISP
I sometimes open 20 linked attachments to find absolutly nothing, and at other times I get it. Strange.....anyone got a solution?
Same prob here,I use a local ISP.Must be something with Outlook that is in the IE5 release.Does not do this when I go back to Outlook in IE4.

Make that five. This happens to me also. I have no idea why it happens or what to do about it. Am using Outlook Express 5, Win98, and am running IE5.0. And using ELN (Earthlink) as my ISP.

Get rid of OE, and get a real mail program.

Like Shorty, this only happens with SOME email, not all. Makes me wonder if MS/OE has a built in compatibility issue with some other ISPs/Email programs - perhaps one that MS is trying to bury?
