The scenario is this: Two machine home LAN, one upstairs, one in basement, both running WimME. 13 year old son upstairs has discovered joys of Napster downloading http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif. Father in basement wishes he didn't but that's another story! After dissconnecting from Internet Father notices basement machine (the one with the modem in it) re-connects to Internet even though son is not upstairs using his computer. Upon inspection, Father discovers Napster icon is still loaded in taskbar on upstairs computer so he then has to terminate Napster manually to prevent unwanted continuos connection.

My question: By using Netmeeting can I remotely terminate Napster? If so, should I use desktop sharing or program sharing? How easy is it to set up? I've just started to play around with Netmeeting. Does Netmeeting have to be running at all times on both machines? Are there better ways to accomplish a remote program termination?
