I have 18 machines (17 NT and 1 W2k)on a LAN with no problems until one user tried to send an email to everyone on the LAN and to two people off the LAN (in same address line). When they did this the error "unable to transmit, no transport provider located" or similar to that. Now it appears to be cascading to other users. I have reloaded profiles, and reset all user accounts. Have scanned the system for virus using current updates. Can anyone provide me with any help http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif . Thanks...

Can you give more detail about your email enviroment? Like using an internal Exchange server or POP3 accounts from your ISP or ??? What is your email client software?

Thanks anyway DVNT1. Well now it is up to three users and climbing. The users can email from within the LAN, but cannot email off of the LAN. I checked the settings with other accounts that are working and they are the same (as far as I can tell). I don't have any ideas other then a reload of the servers (which I am sure probably is an extreme overkill).

yes, it was...but for Microsoft Exchange Server I don't have any advice.

Hopefully someone else will be able to help you soon.
