Right now, I think everyone is aware that the internet music war is at it's peak. Illegal activity will always go on no matter how many laws you make, and the record companies will always want justice serverd. Here's my idea...

Record companies should legalize and release songs that are, or have been released on the radio.

Why? -because this is the bulk of what the average MP3'st wants. And there would be realitivly no loss to the record company (people who want them pull them off the air anyway.)

What about the radio stations? -These days people have CD players in their car, but still listen to the radio, and at work as well. Hardly anyone listens to the radio at home right now (anyway), so a public relase of those songs would do very little financial damage to radio stations. (definately not as much as Illegal MP3's)

This will most likely help out the record companies because it will full fill what the idea of releasing songs publicly. It will increase demand for CD's at the record store, or purchased downloaded singles off of the record company site.

Tell me what you think. Will this finacially kill the record companies? Or is "radio" songs for free not enough? Or will illegal MP3s still be a big problem.
Would you be satisfied with songs off of the radio?

Just lower the cost of cds to 10 bucks a pop and you increase your volume thereby helping both sides of the issue.
