CMonster 05-11-2000, 07:48 PM It really depends on the LAN and protocol in use: If I assume you mean a LAN that primarily uses TCP/IP - then "yes" it might be a good idea to remove NETBEUI, or any protocol you are not using. NETBEUI is broadcast intensive, however some companies use NETBEUI along with TCP/IP for redundancy, but the answer to your question is probably a "yes, remove it."
