You apply a software patch that's stored in RAM! No thanks! My advice - Pay the extra few $ for a Palm III or save up and get the Palm Vx - I love mine! It does have many modules for upgrading and is the only Palm OS driven PDA that can have the memory upgraded. It seems to be a bit better than the Palm in my eyes. The Palm's also have memory that cannot be used for apps (Palm IIIXE, has 8MB---6 for data only, no apps, Palm IIIE cannot use apps at all-It can only be used as-is). Plus you get those cool colors!
