I was reading one of the various system optimizing sites a few weeks ago, and it had an article about some settings that would dramatically increase a cable modem speed. Since I was happy with my measly little 56k, I didn't need, and couldn't use, now I have ordered a cable connection, and I want that extra speed.
Unfortunately, I can't seem to find that article for the life of me, does anybody have an idea as to where I can find this?

Thanks

If you want to speed up your connection on your computer side, just visit www.speedguide.net (http://www.speedguide.net) and grab the appropriate patch for your OS. It works wonders. My typical d/l speed went from 60 KB/sec before to 250 KB/sec after. Good stuff.
