Plug in a component like a cassette player, cd player, vcr audio output, etc.(except a turntable) and record away. Use a patchcord that is 2 RCA jacks to a mini stereo plug. A turntable needs a special equalizer amp. which is internal in any amplifier with a turntable input so you'd need that between the turntable and the computer. SysOpt.com
