1. Can DSL connection be shared over a home lan using 98' ICS.

2. Can the telephone be used will on the internet

3. Does the DSL connection allow you to set it up to get faxes and does it have a seperate phone number.

Having dsl my self, I can tell you that you can use the phone will surfing the web. I have done that many times. And I dont know about the faxes, and about the phone number, you shouldnt have to have a separate phone line, I didnt have to. If you call the company which provides it, they can help you with the rest of your questions. I hope I helped out as much as possible.

1. Virtually Anything with an IP can be proxied or used with NAT such as ICS. You'll just need to know how to setup the software.

2. Yes, DSL uses a different frequency from voice comm.

3. DSL does not have a seperate phone number, it is almost transparent with normal telephone operations.

If you want to setup a fax, its just like how you would if you didnt have DSL anyhow. DSL is not a factor there.
