I wanted to know if you can Sandra 2000 is a pretty accurate benchmark? I have been using it cause someone here at this forum recommended it. It seems to be pretty accurate, but I'm just going by the tests I have ran.

Biff 05-10-2000, 02:40 PM I think some of it you have to take with a grain of salt! Myself I use it to see if what I'm doing is actually an improvement. I dont use other peoples benchmarks as gospell, and that I should get that, more of a "am I in the ball park" figure. Mntsnow 05-10-2000, 08:13 PM I agree...ALL benchmark utlitys are only good to check YOUR OWN improvements as you are really compareing apples to oranges anytime you compair system as you probably have different hardware, software and background running apps ect ect compaired to the other guy (although you BOTH might have the same motherboard and CPU) EVERYTHING in a system impacts how it runs!
