I know that the Alt key will do funny charactres like Å, Æ, ø, ¿, ©, and you can do them with the keypad when its on num lock, but what does the Alt Gr key do? I asked a few of my friends and they didnt know, so, does anyone know?

And, also, is there any use at all ever for an upside down question mark ¿

Thanks, Jack © 2000

The upside down question mark, as well as many of the other extended ASCII characters (êïôû) are for other languages. I think Spanish uses the ¿.

And I don't know what an "ALT Gr" key is. My keyboard does not have one.

The upside down question mark is a machine channel command commonly used in the printing industry... well it was commonly used until everyone agreed on ansi commands.
