Help! Network doesn't work

Hi everyone,

I had two computer connect through an 8 port hub. The first one is Win2kpro (192-168-0-1; 255-255-255-0) can connect and access the second one WinMe (192-168-0-2; 255-255-255-0). However, the WinMe can't connect and see the Win2kpro even though when I ping 192-168-0-1 I receive a response from the Win2kpro. WinMe can't find the Win2kpro when I try to search by computer name. I have been struggling with this for days and couldn't figure out what the problem is. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In the Win2k set up an acct with the user name and password that you use to log into the ME box.That will allow you entry into 2k.

you did not say how u created the network. in Win Me i used the home networking wizard on my main computer and created the networking wizard startup disk and run it on my 2 other computers (win98se) and everything seems to be working fine. hope that helps.
