dsl and proxy server question

we have six puters at work they were all networked. dsl was installed on the 3 office puters and they left the others out. they got the other 3 back on the network but the dsl connection wont work on them. all but one has windows 98 the other has 95 osr2. how do you get the other 3 to run the internet?

You need aproxy server installed on the machine with the modem http://www.anologx.com has a free download

AnalogX is a free proxy server and works great for standard http. When you try to do other stuff like something that requires any type of authentication it is going to fail. You also can't access newsgroups or use Napster or Scour or any of those. It is basic, as he states, and does not support all the protocols.

my prob wasnt the proxy server they already have one cause 3 comps are on dsl. i think they are using the proxy server that came with win98 but i dont know where its at

Is one machine hooked directly to the DSL? thats most likely the machine doing the work.
