My Dad's office has got the love-bug virus. What's infected? Well, how about 4 9gb SCSI drives on the server, the drives of every workstation (all ten at least), the website I designed and thousands of pounds of Auto-cad drawings and my site JPEGs.

Anyone here know how I can get it off using regestry hacks mabey? I also need to clean the infected files. The server is a Netware server (huge big HP with a PII450 and 256mb ram) and I havn't a clue how to do anything with it. Please help! Thanks http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I don't know if this will help but this is what my B-I-L told me that happened where he works.

The virus never hit our live site, but it did a bang up job in several of
our off line departments. It got to a good chunk of our development
servers.

The saving grace was that the guy wrote the stuff in VBS. One of our
developers was able to reverse engineer the code and force it to undo
everything it did. We lost a lot of JPEG file, but those are all
replaceable. Thank God it didn't effect ASP files or we might have been in
a lot worse shape.

Thanks Codybear!
If the public could get that reverse engineered thing...

I'm just worried about getting it off the NetWare server.
edit - forgot for a sec - Thanks Jad!
