Can't see computer in network neighborhood. Wins disabled

I have a user who is dialed up and can't be seen in the network neighborhood. the dialup adapter is set up for use dhcp for wins and tcpip and when she dials up, she gets onto the network, but cannot see her computer in the window. she has file and print sharing enabled, has files shared out, and when we check the dialup adapter settings under network properties, the disable wins is checked. WTF. I have tried reinstalling components but no luck. No lmhosts file in system. any help

I guess you're using Windows? Use that netbeui thing for MS computers to see each other. Better still, use a flavor of Unix http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Netbeui not routable. yeh it is windoze 95.
