Which sound card to buy??

I currently have a SB AWE64 ISA sound card. Is it worth upgrading to a SB Live value? Will I notice a difference?
I only have a basic speaker/ subwoofer set-up and I don't really want to upgrade those too. I do have a spare set of Creative speakers which I could use as a second set.

Also is there any difference between the SB Live value and the SB 512?... they cost about the same... I couldn't tell from the Creative labs web page, the two seem similar.

Any advice is appreciated...

I just have basic speakers and subwoofer.... and very noticable diffrence from similar sound card to sb live value....

I dont know what the diffrence is between the two SB cards

Almost whatever card you are coming from SB Live Value is almost always work it, so unless you have the SB Live, Platnium, X-Gamer or MP3+ (cards with the gold leads) it is worth it. It is one of the three components in my comp I am 100% satisfied with! I would buy it in a heartbeat!

I have el-cheapo brand (ensoniq) and everything sounds good to me. ( I also work on jets) http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif Maybe I should upgrade though.
