I changed my regestry settings and went from 300Kbps too over 4000Kbps.Is this good or should I be able to get more? I have a cable modem and road runner for an ISP.Isn`t the cable line capable of 10000Kbps?RR tech support told me to use my default windows settings.(300Kbps)Any thoughts on this?jc

The fastest speed that cable will normally deliver is 1.5 mbs
or 1500 kbs.

The cable that is used is rated for 10000kbs, so It could very well be possible to get 4000 kbs.

What registry settings did you change? I want to play at > T1 speeds too!

The regestry settings you can get at regedit.com.I set the RCV window @ 744660,the TTL to 256 these are both double the regedit.com settings.MaxMTU 1500,MaxMSS 1460.In sys.ini, file 386enh I added Irq(your nic card`s)=4096,this reserves ram for the card.I have been experimenting with dif programs, etc. They only slow me down.I use PCPITSTOP.com to do my speed tests.jc
