Dumb Question: How Do I start a Network with 2 PC's

ok My dad is getting me another NIC for my other PC once i get this and install it both pC's will have a NIC how do i make a network?

any Responce would Help

You can either connect the PC's with a single "cross-over" cable or connect them with a hub.

Keep in mind that networking PC's can make them very vulnerable to internet hacking. Use a firewall!!! Then test your security at http://grc.com/default.htm
