Hi,
I was wondering what would be the best and most productive and cheap http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gifway to "attach" a fully working pc keyboard/moniter/ect to a working "box".The box being all the spare working parts I have = a PC but no extra keyboard or monitor ,can I get some use from this stuff?
The extra pc aint bad either LOL

You can get a switch box at any computer store that will allow 1 monitor between up to 4 computers or the deluxe model can also attach a keyboard. You will still need an extra mouse.
Some may not have it in stock but will order it in (cheap)

Try to find a free PC anywhere like program out there. I've been racking my brain cell trying to think of the name. Trust me they are out there search for remote control or remote admin or something like that. I had two machines and only one monitor that I was constantly unplugging and replugging to get into. I'll try to figure out what I used. It was really slick it was like having 2 desktops, one actual and the other was in a window.
As far as what to do with it...? web server? storage? [shrug]

I was hoping to get something more along the lines of both working together. Both Pc's sharing the load of whatever I was doing rather than two seperate units operating on there own.I know I have seen some whacky gaming setups where folks have used 3-4 PC's together.I just havent got a clue how to start.I dont think patching the serial ports and hoping for the best will do there must be more?????????
