Try WS_FTP or CuteFtp.

Thanks Goethe,

But these are not free. I just want to use the get command through a proxy. And I'm not gonna pay for just using a simple get command!

To give a clue of what I am searching for I say that NT's ftp would be great if it could use proxies.

Command line, proxy capable, simple and free.

Know any client like that?

I use FTP Explorer - it's free and should run on NT. It's set up just like Window's Explorer and very easy to use. I believe I got it from Tucows. www.tucows.com (http://www.tucows.com)

Hope this helps.

Thank you all guys for the replies.

I found very interresting software at the links you posted... though nothing was what I was looking for (I use SQUID which is HTTP proxy only and hardly I found a program that supports it). Thanks anyway guys http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I finally found a solution with Go!Zilla (yeah, I know the opinion of SysOpt about it). It supports HTTP proxies and it has a built-in scheduler for downloading files repetively at a time you specify (so that you can download eg. the latest virus updates from Symantec's ftp server every week). So, problem solved!
