I got sick and tired of it so finaly I am gonna do something about it. People keep changing domain on login and then they call me and tell me that they can't log in, well DUH.
I know that there is no option to hide domain on Client for Microsoft Networks but is there some registry tweak that would hide domain field on login?
Please help, I am ready to %^*&^*&%^%##$ http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Since you mention REGISTRY, I assume your clients are running some variation of Windows.
Which Windows O/S are they using? I'm no registry guru to say the least but I do believe the registries are different for NT and 9x.

This may or may not help, but it is worth a shot. Try setting Primary Network Logon to Windows Logon. As long as Log on to Windows NT domain is check under properties for Client for Microsoft Networks, they should still authenticate to the NT domain. Of course this may wreak havoc on any login scripting or user profile stuff you are doing, so beware. The login prompt people see will be Username and Password only, no option to change the domain.
Use Poledit (don't remember the option)
